Just found this... Anyone know if there's a report from after the event?
### http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4203021.stm A conference to question whether global warming will have a catastrophic effect is being held in London on 27 January. It is being organised by the Scientific Alliance, which says its purpose is to bring together scientists and others to discuss environmental challenges. -- Nick in Northallerton www.whelan.me.uk Also nickw7coc on Yahoo Messenger & on MSN Messenger |

This is the website of the Scientific Alliance. I tried to get a ticket for the meeting but I suspect it was cancelled for lack of support. http://www.scientific-alliance.org/index.htm Cheers, Alastair. |

It all happened when the natural history eunuk got overrun by priests of the Ba Ha'i faith and made monkeys out of the governors. That high priest of waffle, Attenbugger was on the box recently with a programme -alledgedly about wildebeest. OK it had gnus in it but what it was about was evolution. I was actually hoping to find out something about them (stupid bugger I know) but all it was, was a butchers holliday. And that was just one example. If that was anything to go by, the extracurricula stuff was a load of cobblers. You missed nothing. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |
