Thunderstorms at 4:30am, 5:20am, 7:15am and still the odd rumble. Too
tired to say anything vaguely scientific about them.

If you follow the new GCSE science syllabus you won't have to. You
will just need to discuss the social and political aspects of them

I was kind of semi-conscious all night and it sounded like one huge
thunderstorm going on for hours.

Update - Still lightning occasionally overhead. Very heavy rain. Checked
neighbours rain gauge. 20mm since yesterday. Ankle deep water round
house - send boat!!

Horrid night - I think the storms triggered my daughters asthma/cough
thingy so bad night looking after her, I think we may have slept through
the first couple of hours of storms though. At least keeping her at home
means no school run in this.

12pm - no rain for a bit. Another 10mm in gauge
