Hi,
just back from Peru and saw something unusual. Would appreciate an help with an explanation. I was in Ollantaytambo at around midday. Mainly clear blue skies and no rainfall had occurred that day. A bright sun was fully encircled by a rainbow; the entire rings were visible. This was there for a number of hours. At no point was the rainbow in contact with the ground - it made a perfect circle in the sky around the sun. Has anyone seen this before or know how it's caused? Thanks |
