![]() Pretty wild here at the moment with blustery showers and a strong north westerly. The wind's blowing straight down Loch Goil, which looks quite rough with a lot of white water and the occasional 'water devil'. Very little water activity on the sheltered Loch Long except where the wind eddies round the point in the centre of the web cam pictures. Here, a lot of blown spray flying roughly at right angles to the prevailing wind. Temperature, 10.3°C. The maximum was 13.7°C at 05:15z rising from a low of 8.8°C at 20:15z yesterday and then falling to 9.4°C at 09:15z today. Wind gusting to 45mph WNW. Rain, 12.6mm since 00:00z after 29.2mm yesterday and 15.4mm on Tuesday. Monthly total so far is 150.4mm and the annual total so far is 1321.8mm. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
