Interesting to see the low forecast to move east through N Scotland and
then towards Norway and then south-east into Sweden / Denmark. Vaguely reminiscent of the N Sea floods low from 1953, although I'm sure people will correct me on the exact track of that system !! Some quite strong winds coming down the North Sea... Richard |

Uppala Reanalysis and reforecast of three major European storms of the 20th century using the ECMWF forecasting system November 2003 http://www.ecmwf.int/publications/li...A40_PRS_10.pdf I believe it was published in Met Apps as two papers, regards, David |

Any idea what sort of level of tides are expected that day? Looks like they
