Default Met for aviators 13/14Nov

Just wondered if anyone on the ng was going on this course at the Met Office
college on 13/14 November.
If so, I'll see you there!

Jon - are you around those 2 days ? There has to be a visit to the aviation
bench! Pity its a Mon/Tue as I shall miss the promenade weather briefing
which I think is on Thursdays.

Phil

I went on the 2 day course 'Met for Glider Pilots' at the Met Office College
last December. Very interesting and useful-included a visit to the Ops
centre. An enormous folder of information accompanies the course. Got the
impression that the two courses are similar.
Mind you since then I have become a bit more choosy as to when I go to the
gliding site.

All the best

I'm not unfortunately, Phil :-(
Yes, the weekly briefing is on Thursdays, but try and com up to Ops at 0915Z
for the Chief's daily briefing.

BTW when I heard you were on the course I asked if you were the instructor
:-)

Jon.
