Many thanks for the feedback guys, i can use this to develop it, and
hopefully iron out the bugs. So i'm going to focus on making users able to
delete previous weather reports and probably add a timestamp, so that the
time of the weather report can be also seen. I will also add Northern
Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to the map. I'm going to have a look
through the problems people have posted now, and hopefully come up with some
solutions.

Cheers guys

... good idea, but I've only just worked out that in IE I wasn't seeing
the icons (weather emoticons) for some reason. Only by using Firefox could
I put a report in - couldn't understand the error dialog that asked me why
I hadn't put an 'emoticon' in when I couldn't see them!

Martin.

Just a quick note to say, if anyone is trying to access the site, the server
it is on in down. Also i'm scripting some new features as described below.
If the server plays ball and is back up tonight, the Weather Reports Map
Version 1.2 will be online with most, if not all of the improvements stated
below, plus some new stuff

cheers,

Mike

Quick update

the server is back online and so is a new weather report map

http://www.dudleyweather.co.uk/wxrepmap/wxrepmap.html

It has new features, but i'm currently still working on the most vital of
the updates such as the adding the time of the report, and the option to
update reports. So feel free to add reports in the meantime, and give me
feedback.

cheers,

Mike

We seem to have sunk, but I made my best guess :-)
