Another very noisy night with blustery rain showers. Patches of new snow visible above c.800 metres. Eerily quiet now with some shower activity. At 08:30z:- 7/8 Sc/Cu/Cb. Temperature 5.1°C falling from a maximum of 7.0°C at 00:15. Dew point 5.1°C. RH 100%. Wind 3 mph gusting to 10 mph, NE. Max gust 41 mph, WNW, at 01:45z. Barometer 983.2 mb, steady. Precipitation since 00:00z, 14.6 mm at a maximum rate of 5.6 mm/hr at 07:00z. Total rainfall this month 203.2 mm. Total rainfall this year 1570.6 mm.
