I get *your* rainfall, and I'm getting it now. The annual mean here (1971-2000, COL estimate) is 834 mm. My own figures 1983 to the present give 809 mm (last year brought it down a lot). At the top of the Downs (875 ft) a few miles away the mean is probably just about 900 mm. All this is wetter than Manchester, which most non-weather types find hard to believe. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, NE Surrey, 556 ft. |
