Yes but maybe I could refer you to the original post with the article mentioning "a hurricane" and not "hurricane force winds". We don't get hurricanes in the UK. They called it a hurricane to the fact that it was hurricane force wind gusts being forecast. Which is doubly wrong seeing as the beaufort scale, if I'm not wrong, refers to sustained winds and not gusts. Still, maybe I'm just wittering on seeing as I've got "Blue Peterarii" - I'm off to make a Stephenson Screen with some left-over washing up bottles with the kids. Sigh... No cheers, Richard |
