Just seen this forecast. I get the impression he is getting worse and
worse. Waved his arms in the general direction of Scotland and said there would be "severe gales over parts of Scotland". No attempt at indicating which parts are more likely to experience this severe weather! Little mention of the sort of rainfall to be expected over an area with a number of severe flood warnings in force. Really worse than useless! Alan |

Alan I saw a slightly earlier one of his on News24 where again he skipped over what might happen tonight and instead concentrated on the tour around the country at 9am Monday. His time ran out (they had overrun with a report on the fireworks factory fire) so I didn't find out what might happen tomorrow evening either ! Tim |

Agreed, it really was pathetic. The graphics were zooming out at high speed
at the very mention of Scotland "Alan" wrote in message ... Just seen this forecast. I get the impression he is getting worse and worse. I heard an amusing forecast on BBC Southern Counties earlier today
It was the weekly forecast and following the "forecast", the programme host had a chat with the "forecaster". It transpired that presenting the weather on the radio was a part time job - His "day job" was a supermarket manager!!! Could explain a lot . . . I'm afraid I didn't get his name though otherwise we could have had another public flogging of a BBC weather "presenter" :-) Cheers Neil Alan wrote: Just seen this forecast. I will still take Corbet any day over the Daily Express.
Tomorrow's weather related headlines read: "Big beast of a storm will lash Britain all week" and "100 mph hurricane and a bad hair day for some" My head goes into my hands at the state of "journalism" today |

Was it Richard Jackson?
Yes, I think that was his name Robin Nicholson wrote: On Sun, 03 Dec 2006 21:45:40 +0000, Neil wrote: I'm afraid I didn't get his name though otherwise we could have had another public flogging of a BBC weather "presenter" :-) Was it Richard Jackson? R |

Has anyone noticed that Mr. Corbet often cannot finish a sentence? The last
word is often shortened and runs into the next sentence - he gabbles away at a quite ridiculous rate. It can't be insufficient time, as others manage to speak coherently, and some even mange to pass pertinent details. CK "Neil" wrote in message ... Was it Richard Jackson?
