RMK: [COTRA] - 1Sc(distant/N)~040, 1Ci/COTRA~200/250.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 02.2 grass min: 00.1 precipitation: tr [24hr total: tr]
other data: measured 'trace' in gauge from overnight dew; hoar frost
hardly of great worth - even the cars not particularly affected -
presumably too much heat being released underlying surfaces. ]=

Thick white frost here this morning. I've noticed before from your reports
that your area seems less prone to frost than mine.

.... can't think of a good explanation for a marked difference. The
effect wasn't just local to this street, but extended to the immediate
area - some cars had irregular hoar deposit, but surprisingly little on
grass.
