![]() Last night around 8PM I noticed that fine ice crystals were being formed and falling as fine snow. The crystals were quite hard and could be felt on the face whilst walking When I woke this morning I assumed the whiteness on the ground was frost, but on inspection it was clear these were loose particles, resulting in a covering of 2mm or so. This was in Tadley which is at around 100 meters ASL. However this was very localised, within a mile in all directions there was no lying snow. This isn't the first time I have seen localised snow fall in Tadley. |

Intresting point, there is of course a nuclear reactor within the confines of AWE (right next door) and it's not unusual to see plumes of stream. |

I live very close to Didcot Power Station and currently we have a cover of fine 'snow' over cars and grass. Benson is recording a 2mph ESE wind currently which would be spot on for me receiving Didcot Snow (TM). |

My son's girfriend made a mini snowman yesterday, she was a little alarmed when I told her the source of the snow. Now where is that geiger counter...? |
