I see that BBC News 24 mentioned uk.sci.weather this morning, via mentioning

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/uswfaqfr.htm

and in particular Mr Rowley.

Was this part of a feature or just 'the news'?

Part of a feature of some sort. Missed the beginning of the feature, but it
was about the weather :-)

Festive regards to all on here.

And even to you, Mr Weatherlawyer. I hope you get that anger management
course you asked Santa for.

Cheers,
Richard

Sad, bad and less mellow happy new platitudes aught to be sought for
the sake of those who don't need the usual suspects at this time of
year.

Save all the photoshoots of the priests in action in Palastine for
example for the ones that get shot. Stop showing maps of the places
where the good old fashioned reality bites and start showing pictures
of children dying.

Stuff your season's greetings where they will do the most good I say.

Poke Andrew Lane up there too.
