Nick Yes, it does get read from time to time (particularly by forecasters when there's some sig. weather around) but more often than not it's the direct approach that will result in the quickest response. When I worked there (and it was a few years ago) the ng was monitored by one
person in the web team (the only people that can take any action) and then only fom time to time. Certainly when I was forecasting I would sometimes take a look but not generally when there was very significant weather around as there just wasn't enough time. As Jon said the best thing to do is call the Call centre a ring as that will (eventually) get actioned. Finally, and this was the case when I was there again, but support for the website was only during working hours.
