Rodney Blackall writes: A report in The Daily Telegraph of Tuesday 26th December recounts the results of Irish research tracking leatherback turtles. Apparently, according to this report, the sea temperature between Ireland and the Cape Verde Islands falls to MINUS 8 deg centigrade at 1000 m!! Philip (Eden) will find the statement at the top of column three of the report on page 15; there may be some copy in this!
