Default West Cornwall Rough Conditions

Wind touching gale force at times, with gusts to 50mph on the sea
front, driving rain/drizzle and a large sea.

Interesting photo at www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/PSands.html showing
the sea state, loads of wind blown foam coating everything, and a
significant storm surge at Praa Sands. The astronomical tide is small,
the pressure at 1009mb is not particularly low, yet the sea is above
the Spring Tide high water and surging up the path to the car park well
before high tide. All down to the onshore wind.

Yes it does. Maybe I should post the photo again in a couple of months,
claim it's snow & see if anyone believes me!
