Quite incredible temperature at Aberdeen (Dyce) 03091 of 15.0°c.
I was amazed at my own 14.1°c but I see that both Loconfield and London Met were 14.1°c as well. Anyone know what Shoeburyness's maximum was 03693 My highest January maximum was 15.8°c on January 27th 2003. -- Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net e-mail: kreh at southendweather dot net |

Even now, at 2300Z, it's 12.5C. This month has certainly started remarkably warm. -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |

![]() Quite incredible temperature at Aberdeen (Dyce) 03091 of 15.0°c. It's obscene! Is it January or June? It's 12.3c at Keele in Staffordshire and 11.5c here at 23.00 and I have the window open with the heating off and still it's reading 22.3c indoors! It wasn't unpleasant, in fact the opposite. Home (400' higher) has been up at about 9C most of the day, that isn't just "mild" it's positively warm! The 90 odd mm (3.5") of rain we've had in the last 6 days should be snow at this time of year not warm rain. Be nice, 3.5" of rain would be about 3 1/2 foot of snow. All that snow would have been nice at Christmas/New Year when I wanted to sledge Dave |
