Vince, it when the lights fade momentarily then come back
again, presumably as a result of switching in the network ...
not enough for the TV to go off or the 'puter to go down.

Brown-out, because it's not quite a black-out.

a noticeable increase in the wind when it swung into the
west this afternoon, courtesy of the local topography.
