Default winter swallows and warmth

It had to happen one day - sign of the times.

From Birdguides:
Interesting winter reports included several Swallows in the continuing
exceptionally mild weather.
Two overwintering birds were reported from Pembroke and others were seen at
West Bexington (Dorset) and
Budleigh Salterton (Devon).

In our garden in S.Cambs, the cat caught two half grown nestling Robins as
early as 23 January.

Sorry to say it Jack, but that cat is a murderer and should be destroyed.

There is a difference between MOTHER NATURE, capitalist, and the foxes
that you and your other big black boot-bearing, red overcoat-wearing,
shorty short-haired ultra-capitalists love to kill with
specially-trained dogs.;-) :-o

Stop being a capitalist!:-o :-(
