Anyone hear our dear friend Piers with his response to the global warming
report?
Basically, no correlation between temperature and CO2 and it's something to
do with particles from the sun. Not sure if he meant the newspaper or was
getting confused with the express.

Sheesh, blaming the sun, the hottest thing in the solar system nearest to us,
whatever next :-)

And ... no correlation between CO2 and temperature!!!, ... er what keeps us
nicely warm on this planet, capable enough to sustain life in fact. Answers on a
postcode but it has 10 letters and begins with an 'a' .

I'll be back :-)

Will.

Other forums are building up to fever pitch regarding the weather next
week

I'm glad to see this is a place where cool (not weather related) heads
prevail

I still can't get my head around personal attacks resulting from one
person likes mild weather, and another person prefers cold conditions.

Some of those people are clearly quite intelligent... but when the
cold v mild argument rears up... resort to infintile comments

Should Snow completely disappear from some parts of the Uk (which is a
possability) it's really not the end of the world. There are ski
resorts in Scotland, just across the North Sea, into Norway. Through
the channel tunnel and into Europe, down to the mountains of France /
Austria / Switzerland.

One weekend break - and hey presto, a person can get their snow fix
for the winter

"So much Air time"

I like it Jim, like it.

Let's face it though, for good or for bad, old Piers is a gas.

A weekend break that causes extra carbon emissions and therefore global
warming.......

Anyone seen the "hockeystick graph" comparing number of cows on the planet
with methane in the atmosphere and hence global warming (methane is 20
times more efficient than co2 at causing warming.)
VERY CONVINCING.
