I'm keeping a close watch on comments/observations as we have Dad's
send-off at Wrexham crematorium on Wednesday and there will be family
travelling from Northumberland, Lincolnshire, the Midlands and
probably Yorkshire - I'd be quite happy for the heavy snow to hold off
until Friday!

Fingers crossed that all will be well for this important day: the same
'what ifs' have happened to me Elaine.
I am interested down here in Dorset partly because my home nestles
just 1 mile below Bull Barrow (272m) and also because I am driving to
Bedford on Friday night and then Robin Hoods Bay area Saturday.
I recall February 1996 when we had a considerable snowfall here in the
week before school Half Term and the latter was extended back by two
days.....

Beautiful day thankyou.

At 9.00am we noticed that the inside unit of the little wireless
thermometer had run out of battery power and was not picking up the
outside reading - which was -6.23C so don't know what the lowest
overnight was.

Sunny all day, the reading from the back of the house facing NEish did
manage to creep over freezing.

Currently reading -1.2 at 01.20 (GMT)
