Default [WR] Fleet, Hampshire (-7.4C)

-7.4C was the overnight min. Easily the coldest night if the winter so far.

Currently -6.5C at 08:26.

Blimey!! amazing how temp measurements over a small area can differ. I
measured -5.1C min with a temp of -3.9C just before school run at 8:30.

looking at others temps it looks like mine is spuriously high?

I keep my thermometer 1m above ground. Its not in a box but its under a
little cut out corner of my shed (cut out so that the wheely bin can get
through) where its very sheltered. Perhaps I need to think about giving
it a proper home.

Farnborough recorded -8C and Odiham -7C, so I think you have a warm spot there!

Up the road in Yateley, I don't have a proper sensor, but just for
interest's sake I put the fridge thermometer outside on the patio
table at 7.30am. By 7.45 it was steady at just below -8C. It's in a
wide plastic casing, so the thermometer bulb was not in contact any
cold surfaces.
