1200z NNE F1-2 1500 -SN HZ 8St004 01.5/-00.4 1003
RMK: Very slight snow started around 1015z. Remained very slight
till about 1130z then it started to snow "properly" though
still only slight. Causing slushy deposits on cars and
probably
settling on the existing snow cover. Full cover of wet snow
except on roads and pavements. 5 cm on grass. Temp
reached a high of 1.6 at 1155z. At the time of typing this
(1210z)
it has fallen to 1.4 so the slightly heavier precipitation
is probably
having some effect. Also as I type, the snow has increased
to
moderate intensity with very large flakes. Settling properly
on cars and causing the road to turn slushy.
