Default Penzance - Wet

24.8mm of rain between midnight and 09:00 (Not quite 'light & patchy'
DB)

This follows 22mm the previous night.

Wettest Days of the year so far:-

8/2 24.8mm (daylight hours were mainly sunny)
7/2 22.9mm
7/1 13.5mm

So the first really wet weather of the year, and it's going to last a
bit

Very wet here in south Devon as well.

A total of 20.2 mm of rain since midnight and more to come I reckon. The
fields around here are all waterlogged and run-off onto the roads is causing
some problems.

Temperature has started to drop quite quickly too from a high of 8.2C as a
NW breeze has sprung up recently.

Currently at 16:45, 3.7C, RH 88%, DP 2.0C, 996.5 mb (R), Wind 15 mph NW
gusting 24 mph.

Much colder here than yesterday. Yesterday temperature around 10C
early afternoon, after the early strong winds. Today around 6C at the
same time.

Tomorrow a HUGE swell predicted, 20'-30' at places like Sennen, and
10-15' in Lyme Bay. Certainly likely to be the biggest since December.

Interesting times.
