Default News 24 update on rainfall

Latest update on News 24 weather saying that rain is coming in more quickly
than expected and will reach SE by 6.00pm with 1-2 inches overnight and into
the morning. Whilst I doubt it will be as much as that if the latter amount
occurs it will exceed any of totals for the previous individual 4 months
here! As the ground is at last saturated from the 30mm of the past 4 days
then I imagine flooding is likely to become an issue.

35mm in the 72 hours to 0900 this morning here. Dry today though, and sunny.

I see there's now a severe weather warning out for SE England south of
the Thames for tonight and tomorrow (Wednesday).
