It's the other way around, I'm encouraging people to attend their
concerts and buy their orginal material which is of much better
quality than a video I recorded on a hand held camera.

That may be your intent but you cannot mandate that behaviour of others.

I would like to make it clear that I have not, and will not receive
any payment for these videos.

That's not the point. Copyright holders will be "upset" because you are
effectively distributing copyright material. You may have infringed
their image rights too.

As for the other videos I've posted of The Quails & Muse, the lead
singer of the Quails bought me a drink and thanked me, and I gave a
copy of the Muse videos to the bass guitarist who didn't complain.

As I said earlier, so do and some don't.

Some get taken down, some don't. For example some sites were told to
remove the Top Gear episode shown last week.

I agree that is different, because the BBC clearly own the copyright
to Top Gear as they are the ones that originally created and broadcast
the footage.

Tim,

I hope to god The Killers don't come after me for Royalties, as for
Muse they openly encouraged bootleg videos of the recent UK tour and
provided an area on their Website to upload the videos.

Anyway, I've got to pop out for about an hour so, I'm not being rude
if I don't reply to any more of your comments tonight.

Regards,

Bonos Ego
