For those that like a challenge .... imagine the cloud structure out to
the SW of the British Isles on the 12Z ASXX. http://www.weather.org.uk/charts/UKCpf000.gif (Used to be so much easier before satellite imagery and multiple-level model diagnostics! The phrase "we are not worthy" spring to mind.) Martin. [ for those that don't know... the sequence of fronts is: - frontolysing surface warm front, then a 'standard' surface warm front, followed by an upper cold front, then a 'standard' surface cold front, and chasing up the rear, several surface troughs.
