Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== 0730 Heavy hail shower with snow mixed in giving an icy covering on all surfaces. Drifts of ice on side of moorland road. 0850 Temp 4.2 deg C Dewpoint 1 deg C Wind (est 10m) NW 22 knots gust 36 knots (severe gale force 9 on open exposed moor) 5/8 Cu and isol arctic Cb (low topped) Visibility 10-15Km Rainfall since midnight 3.3 mm Bar 1010 hPa falling quickly This is more like it ! The weather defeated me a bit on the morning dog walk, decided to cut it short as fighting against a severe gale with a wind chill well below zero was not worth it, particularly as my dog was using me as a shelter !!! Now clouding over looks like another heavy shower is heading our way.
