Once more up here in the wild west we have gales and heavy driving rain. Rainfall so far today 9mm but rising quickly with a rate of 6 mm/h. Yearly (2007) total will be well over 600mm by this time tomorrow.
Blimey Will, that's going some. I thought I was doing well in the relative drylands of south east Devon with 322 mm so far this year. Not so bad at home in relative shelter but wind still roaring and a good force 6. Max gust 34 knots at 3m agl. Rain total so far (AWS) 27.2 mm. Continuous heavy rain (getting heavier), rate 9 mm/h.
