Brussels on Monday 19th March

Bright but cold morning with sunny spells. Increasing cloud towards
midday followed by light rain just after 14.00 local time. Rain
turned abruptly to snow at 14.30. Heavy wet snow for the next half
hour - visibility at moderate fog level for a few minutes. Roofs and
grass white by 15.00 when the snow stopped but the lying snow thawed
quickly. Not much blue sky for the rest of the afternoon because of
extensive decayed Cb anvils. Light to moderate mostly WSW wind in
the morning veered NW with the passage of the snow shower.

Brussels Uccle 5.4°C - overnight minimum 1.0°C - and 3 mm rain.
Brussels Airport 6.0°C - overnight minimum 0.5°C - and 1 mm.
