That same model still suggests reasonably high daytime temperatures.

Please remember that we are now at the spring equinox and after a very
mild winter over much of europe as well. Now had this been a month or
so ago then major cold snap yes, but at this time of the year we need
a N or NE flow to get cold air to the uk. Its not global warming its
just bad timing :-)
