I'm having difficulty interpreting the MO radar ATM. Are the showers off
East Anglia moving west to east and intensifying over the sea or moving east to west and decaying? If you run the animation they seem to be all of the place. Dave |

The showers decaying inland but some beefy (technical term) ones over sea and coastal areas and now looking more organised in association with the enhanced forcing moving west http://pages.unibas.ch/geo/mcr/3d/me...22/VOR5024.PNG roughly tied to the trough on the 12Z ASXX http://imkpc3.physik.uni-karlsruhe.de/pics/bracka.gif Current TAFs have got a 30/40% risk of sleet showers later this evening and overnight, e.g. Stansted :- EGSS 141610Z 150018 36014KT 9999 SCT030 PROB40 TEMPO 0006 4000 SHRASN BKN010= Jon. |
