Did a bit of cliff-walking today and I wish now I hadn't bothered. Couldn't
see any views as the air was so murky with what appeared to be a yellowy/greyish haze, almost like it was polluted. I ain't nice, horrible stuff from the east and I wish it would go back there too. It's not natural!! Give me an Atlantic airmass any day. Currently at 20:15, 8.0C, RH 81%, DP 4.9C, 1019.0 mb (F), Wind calm. 0.70 hours of sunshine today. ________________ Nick G Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

Mirky in Cornwall too, lousy visibility after yesterday's glorious sunshine & views. www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm sums it up. Brisons (4 miles distant) barely visible. These easterlies don't often push the muck this far west, but they certainly succeeded today. Graham Penzance |
