Default BBC Broadband News Service (and weather)

I have just made use of this service and watched the weather report.

I have now seen the Corbett person often referred to in this group (I
do not have to see him on television).

Frankly, I prefer any and all of Jim Henson's other characters!

(Someone (not me) overheard the report and asked 'who is that annoying
t**t' ... sigh.)

Oddly enough his radio brosdcasts are much better, so his excesses seem to
be a function of the medium of television.

Those little bubbly showers clouds are threatening from the south-west

Ohhhh, you'd better take your brolly to the train station this morning

Thanks Dan, perhaps you'd like to remind me to boil the kettle, and
butter my toast in the mornings as well

Hey, on the subject of brollies, remember those wild and gusty days
when people walking along the streets had
their umbrella's blown inside out? Haven't seen that for a while. Maybe
the umbrella manufacturers have introduced
some 'wind-proofing'

I saw that happen last Saturday so umbrellas are still as useless as ever.
