Mid-day in Penzance (as well as many other places of course) and it's
already hit 15C, it's virtually still & cloudless - if rather hazy. Small amounts of medium level cloud have drifted off to the west. Shame the sea is still so icy - it's glassy flat and looks like it should be warm! Graham Penzance |

Small amounts of medium level cloud have drifted off to the west. Judging by the midges here in mid-Cheshire today, it's summer all right. Can't give you an accurate max, but I'd estimate at least 14C this afternoon. Shame the sea is still so icy - it's glassy flat and looks like it should be warm! We're off to Pembrokeshire with our grandchildren at the weekend, so we'll see ;-) Steve P |

![]() Yes, summer like over this way too, Graham. Currently 15.3°C and max thus far today 16.1°C. +15.3C was today's max in Dartington. +1.5C was last night's min. Perfect weather IMHO! Regards, Richard. Dartington, South Hams. |
