Default [WR] Haytor 29/3/07 (hail and snow)

Sunny spells and rain, hail, sleet and snow showers today. Hail and snow heavy
for a while giving a temporary covering at my altitude. Dusting higher up. Temp.
fell to +1.5C at times this afternoon. Day max. +6.8C.
Nice clean air with excellent visibility between showers. Yet another day with
snow falling this month in upland Devon :-)

Will.

Missed all the showers here, though it rained for a while whilst in Exeter.

What a drop in temperature from yesterday's high of 17.1C. Only scraped
10.5C here to day.

Going to be a tad chilly tonight, better wrap up those toms.

Currently at 20:00, 3.4C, RH 78%, DP 0.0C, 1011.6 mb (F), Wind 5 mph WNW,
2.9 hours of sunshine today.

I'll have to get round to sowing some veg. now that April is nearly here. Far
too early up here before then. Main sowing seasons are April and May when earth
temperatures finally creep up into double figures.
