Default Summer on the South Coast

Went for a nice walk in the park this afternoon, it's just like
summer. Breezy but warm anyway, in and out of the sun.

It has reached 19 degrees C here this afternoon and down the road at
Solent MRSC I see they are currently reportting 19.7 degrees so a 20
degree max is certainly on the cards there.

Much better than those Autumnal Winters that we seem to get these
days.

With Apologies to Ian Sutherland yes it did indeed reach the magic
20 degrees at Solent MRSC... the Met Office website says it reached
20.1 deg C.

Is that the highest in the UK so far this year? Anyone?

In the official network, yes ... and a full 31 days earlier than last year.
