the Low Countries. NOAA 16 photo shows broken but fairly extensive cloud
over the rest of the British Isles with orographic wave effects.

On Sunday night showers persist near the coast of eastern England and in
East Anglia as well as in NW and NE Scotland. Some showers develop in SW
England and Wales on Monday morning with a few continuing on the coast of
eastern England and in NW and NE Scotland. More pronounced areas of
showers move from the North Sea into East Anglia and coastal areas of
eastern England in the evening.
