Does anyone here have this, and if so, is it any good?

Maybe a lot of the regulars are away for Easter? You could try a search on googlegroups. -- John Hall "I am not young enough to know everything." Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) |

You might get more response to this specific question on other forums, eg: UKWeatherworld (www.ukweatherworld.co.uk/forum - ask in the hardware/software/technology forum) or Weather Display (www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php - the 'Weather Station Equipment' forum often covers questions other than purely WD-related software issues.) Does anyone here have this, and if so, is it any good? Hi Paul, I have the ws2300. I'm not sure what the difference between the ws2300 and ws3500 is, but I can tell you the ws2300 is reasonably accurate but is let down by a poor 'propeller' design anemometer - you should bear this in mind if the ws3500 has the same design anemometer. You might be able to get more information from the yahoo group: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/L...ther_stations/ Regards Bob http://www.hartsleap.com/weather |

It appears as if the WS3500 doesn't have an anemometer, but the 3502 does. That's not a problem though, since I have nowhere to site an anemometer anyway. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham (change 'invalid83261' to 'blueyonder' to email me) |

Extremely easy to set up the data-logging software, though it uses the Com1 port, rather than USB, which seems an odd choice nowadays. It logs temperature, pressure (to 0.1mb, an accuracy I've never had before), and dewpoint. It read a significantly higher max than my current thermometer though, (24.6C to 23.3C) despite the sensors being side by side, so I'll have to monitor them carefully. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham (change 'invalid83261' to 'blueyonder' to email me) |

Does it have the same sensor as my LaCrosse: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._1941_30167739 Mine read extremely high until I made a screen! |
