It is provided freely in the spirit of freedom and the great love for meteorology that we personally enjoy and wish to share freely with others. ================================================== ============================== === Summary valid for Saturday 14/04/07 to Saturday 21/04/07 TOI (time of issue) Friday 13/04/07 2030 UK local time This forecast is for all areas in Devon south of the A30 as far west as the Tamar and as far east as the Exe. Headline summary: Very high confidence for yet another mainly dry week ahead with light winds. Turning fresher and clearer after Tuesday. Possibly becoming colder with night frosts returning next weekend. Synoptic summary: High pressure persisting over Devon. Weak cold front coming through on Monday/Tuesday. Detailed forecast: Saturday looks like being mainly dry with sunny intervals developing. Still hazy with coastal mist and fog patches. Chance of an isolated shower, especially over Dartmoor. Light and variable winds. Temperatures 13C on the coast but up to 20C in a few low-lying places inland, about 16C on Dartmoor. Sunday should be similar to Saturday, perhaps with more sunshine and temperatures maybe up to 21C. Monday again similar to begin with but probably turning cloudy with some patchy drizzle later in the day. Mist and fog patches over the moors and near the coast. Light winds with temperatures 14C near the coast and on Dartmoor but up to 19C in low-lying areas inland. More drizzle possible overnight into Tuesday, but soon brightening up on Tuesday as a light northerly wind sets in. Visibility improving with mist and fog clearing from the coast. Sunny periods later in the day with good visibility. Temperatures 15-19C depending on altitude. The rest of the week looks like staying fine and dry with sunny periods, good visibility and clear nights. Light winds from a northerly point with temperatures 13-17C depending on altitude. Perhaps turning colder by next weekend with the risk of night frosts (0 to -2C) and daytime temperatures down to 10-14C depending on altitude.
