Default Air pressure - least variable month

This month has had, by far, the least variable pressure of any that I've
recorded.

A range of just 1017 to 1027mb, and a standard deviation of hourly
readings of just 2.6mb (previous low 3.6mb).

Of course, there is still time for that to change...

Hi Paul, pretty much identical to my recordings in W.Somerset.

Current reading is the lowest of the month : 1015.6mb

With my new WS3500, it's the first time I've ever had 0.1mb resolution
for my pressure readings.

Paul

Great to hear your joy at 0.1mb accuracy levels, bit I think you might
find your barometer is reading 3 or 4 millibars too low!

Yes, I did a little checking, and found I'd set it a bit low.

See my other post.

I set it against my old electronic barometer, which I *thought* was
reading correctly. I've now used the readings from the nearby Tuffley
station to correct it, though.

I'll have to set the altitude on the old one higher than it should be,
though.
