Default Lovely Day in south Cornwall

It's been a lovely day along the south Cornwall coast, long periods of
warm sunshine. Temperature peaked at 19.8C in Penzance, but with the
high humidity & strong sunshine it felt even warmer.

Pictures of a walk today on ther west coast of the Lizard near
Gunwalloe at www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/ChurchCove.html.

Worth a look just for the sparking blue sea & the Whistling Jacks.

Graham (slightly sunburnt - I expected some cloud!)
Penzance

Graham

Fantastic day here too.

The sun burnt off the cloud quite quickly this morning and by this afternoon
we had a clear sky, and it was the deepest blue I have seen it for quite a
while.

We had a max here of 23.8C.

Currently at 19:20, 20.9C, RH 64%, DP 13.8C, 1017.8 mb (R), 8 mph WNW, 6.45
hours of sun so far today.

Absolutely stunning evening here in Bournemouth. The sun appeared to be
very bright (especially when it was low in the sky!). The colours on the
New Forest as the sun was setting (and I was whizzing through on the
train) were the best I've seen for a while.

Still warm out - I was just stood out on my balcony for a while.

Rotters. Send some of that up to London, please! It's not that cold
but it's very grey and sad.

Max 21.0C up here in Haytor in the warm sunshine.
A massive 6.4C above normal, far too warm for me :-)

Much fresher today (18th) but still quite sunny with temp. a pleasant and warm
13.7C at 0945.

Still not had a temperature of 30C or more since moving here in 2002, which
suits me just fine. It was horribly hot in summer where I used to live in
Crowthorne, Berkshire.

Will.

Sorry. Worse still, I'm having a barbeque tomorrow in Canterbury. So
look out for heavy rainfall (either from the skies or from drunk people
playing silly buggers with the rain gauge!).
