![]() The last 7 days have seen 52.4 hours of bright sun, so it has been quite good really here as well. Nick And it's still good. Fantastic start to today (24th) Cloudless, deep blue sky, calm and 16.8C at 09:00. Also great visibilty. It annoys my when the forecast on CEEFAX covers Devon & Cornwall with 1 statement 'Coastal Mirk' when there are just one or 2 patches of sea fog and for 95% of the area, including the coast, the real picture couldn't be more different. I've noticed that with patches of sea fog, as opposed to low cloud & mirk, the visibilty is often excellent just outside the fog with the scenery having that very blue look (UV filters needed on the camera). Unlike the excellent visibility you get ahead of a warm front, which is very silvery. Graham Penzance |
