'Weatherwise' and Rob Stirling's 'Weather of Britain' book are
probably my most dipped into books in my collection.

It's a great book but I'd like something a little more up to date
than my early 80's copy!-

Robin Stirling died about 20 years ago, and the second edition was, I
believe, compiled by his wife from his unfinished notes for his
planned second edition. Mrs Stirling must be in her 80s by now, if
indeed she is still with us, and I suspect that unfortunately we will
never see a third edition. Now, when I retire ... !
