Stopped raining around 0750Z. Total of 19.1mm.

Judging by friends' reports and data from my Davis VP, it's been raining
heavily in Canterbury for the last four hours or so. Total so far of
17.5mm, the wettest period being between 0500Z and 0600Z. Lots of
thunder and lightning too. And still raining!

Latest radar image is showing an area (probably the size of the area
enclosed by the M25) of rate16mm/hr just North of the Kent coast heading
towards the Suffolk coast....
