Default sub 80F June?

Looking at the models out to the end of the month it looks quite
feasible that nowhere in the UK will exceed the 80 degrees fahrenheit
mark. When was the last time this happened?

Are you sure nowhere has reached 80F already? Even we have reached
26C(79F) up here in the wilds of the NE Pennines!

Reached 27.1C on the 8th of June here in the Otter Valley, Devon. In old
money does that exceed 80F?

On a similar theme I sincerely hope the GFS prediction for the first
week of July does not come true - looks like a week from hell if a)
you enjoy settled weather in the summer and b) you've booked a holiday
for that week....

Unless you've booked the week in Cornwall - Currently looks OKish.
