variable, presumably depending on wind direction and North Sea
influence. They vary from 89.4hr in June 1987 to 297.0hr in June 1940.
Copley tends to be sunnier than Durham possibly because of greater
exposure and distance from the sea, but an eventual June total below
100hr could well be noteworthy.
