RMK: A congested sky ... visibly much more convective now
than an hour ago when Cu/Cb elements were hidden by thick
St; a few blue patches now appearing. Just a few spots of rain
in the air, but hvy ppn falling some distance to the SW and NW.
Hvy shwrs on Thu between 1600z and 2000z, then periods of
mod/hvy rain from 2330z to 0830z today. Some standing water
in fields and lanes.

09-09: Tx 19.6 Tn 11.7 Tg 8.0 RR 12.8 sss 6.9

You are not the only place to have lead a charmed life as it has been dry in
St Albans since the rain ceased fairly early this morning. Total rainfall
this month is c35mm.
