With reference to recent threads, I've just noticed a reported temperature
of 13 degrees C at 09.00 UTC in S.Greenland on
http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Reurmett.html

Possibly not a record, but fairly unusual for mid-February, I would have
thought?

I should have thought so. It's down to 12C now.

Well, the good news is that this IS indeed normal when the UK is under
easterlies, à la this weekend.:-o :-) ;-)

Check the records. The SAME thing happened in 1963 AND, I think, 1947,
too. Likewise with Iceland, or at least the southern part of it.

Correct.
Reykjavík and the south of Iceland often get temperatures of 10°C or
above in Jand and Feb and the Eastern fjords got over 17°C in Feb
2000.
